Welcome fellow monster hunters! Let us take Dr. Lucky's rosario and restore our gallant Yokai Gakuen to it's rightful place.

We must keep an eye out for his trusty bodyguards. For they are always around him. Also, WHAT THE FUCK you ARE GNL Bremen. I guess you wouldn't recognize B:L but you might know a certain DrakeBFire?

You wasted no time.
My cards seem to be pretty awful.
* [F] Failure-1: Played automatically in reaction to an attack made on you; negates one point of Weapon Value. * [W] Desk Lamp: Play on Dr. Lucky or another player in your current room to attack them with a Weapon Value of 2. If played in the Study, this card has a Weapon Value of 4 instead. * [M] Move-1: Play on yourself to move one room or play on Dr. Lucky to advance him one room in sequence. Movement Cards may be played on Dr. Lucky no matter where in the mansion he is.

Oh hey, didn't I know you from NWN?

I guess Neverwinter was a bit too long ago... Anywho, cards: Starting Hand: - [M] Move-2: Play on yourself to move two rooms or play on Dr. Lucky to advance him two rooms in sequence. Movement Cards may be played on Dr. Lucky no matter where in the mansion he is.
- [F] Failure-2: Played automatically in reaction to an attack made on you; negates two points of Weapon Value.
- [F] Failure-3: Played automatically in reaction to an attack made on you; negates three points of Weapon Value.
Not much help here, but default attacks should sap some failures away.

Oh hey, didn't I know you from NWN? Hahah, when I first saw you on the boards, I was like "Hmm, I wonder if that's the GNL Bremen I knew back in the day." So I dropped some hints but you never responded, so I thought I was wrong. But nice to meet up with you again. Small world. ;D

Better than mine I've been trying to think how to handle this. We could just attack at random but we'd run the risk of looking like bodyguards. Might be best to collect cards for now and try to stay out of trouble. Or we could just spam default attack at anyone in range, particularly if we can group up somewhere and hit people multiple times.

The hints apparently sailed right over my head. It was a long time ago, though. Also I'm dense.

Might be best to collect cards for now and try to stay out of trouble. Or we could just spam default attack at anyone in range, particularly if we can group up somewhere and hit people multiple times. Well there will be two phases we need to cover: INVESTIGATION This is where we figure out who's who, basically anyone dropping clues would be obvious faction members. If I can guess my way into their networks, sweet. From there we could figure out Dr Lucky's move manipulations and plan to be near where he is. But we're saving that for the late game, which I'll explain later. ATTACK The second phase is to eliminate bodyguards first, other faction members second. Bodyguards will likely huddle a bit around Dr Lucky to keep him invincible, but a few will be spread out. I'd advise holding off on using weapon cards, and just using default attacks to thin out the failure cards. I don't believe attacks can be traced back to individual people. The strategy in this game is to sandbag. Save up your important cards until the end, when everyone's hands are atrophied and less and less bodyguards are around, then he sack Dr Lucky by taking out anyone near him first then attacking him directly. Sandbagging is important to save up good cards, because in this game moving too fast will leave you with nothing.

Oh yeah, I have a special ability as well.
You have a special ability that might help you in your goals: Influential – You may discard one card from your hand to duplicate the effects of the special card Influence-1. (Play on yourself or another player in your current room to increase the target’s vote power by one vote.) If you discard one card and an Influence-1, you may duplicate the effects of the special card Influence-2. (Play on yourself or another player in your current room to increase the target’s vote power by two votes.) This is treated as using a Special Card in the Action Phase.
Remember, only ONE of our faction needs to land the killing blow on Dr Lucky for us to win.

And oh lordy don't make it so goddamn obvious what your clues are. Too late now, there's going to be a buttload of imposters. Varcayn seems to be the scorned lover faction. I'm having him make some proboards for me mwuahahah

Basically, since this is a FACTION game, no one will care too much about getting rid of someone that they know isn't their faction.
So the goal is to actually lay low and let subtle hints take their course. I wouldn't tell anyone that contacts you now anything, especially about me, but if you can work with them through PMs, that may work.
I would recommend editing your post and removing that whole action sequence before people wake up or read it, just to minimize damage.

You bolded yours I don't think it's that obvious. I'm going to act innocent unless they make some pretty strong references to the role PM.

As a compromise, I'll edit it out before the first day's narration, in case our motives show up on kills and someone combs through the thread looking for occult references.

By the by, does your role PM contain a name and a special power? Can you copy/pasta your power so that we can work it into our planning?
I also want to know to help out with infiltration.
